A full planning application can be extremely complex

It generally involves surveying the site, production of contract and administration documents, retrieving site specific information from external sources, and of course sitting down with you and formulating a detail design brief. Once these have been done, we are then able to start the process of design and the production of drawings.

We will organise all forms, certificates and written reports such as Conservation and Listed Building applications, Design and Access Statements and Vulnerable Development reports, as well as SAP/SBEM assessments, Secured By Design applications, and other third party consultations.

Our unique selling point and best strength is the fact that we are not only a planning consultant, but also a long-established developer and these skills are all in-house, not contracted out

Not all projects will require planning consent Make sure your planning permission can be built or it could be a costly mistake. We are partnered with Breckland District Council Building Control allowing us if required to use their services for work anywhere in the country and providing for us and our clients a single point of contact for all regulation needs.

We pride ourselves in our level of technical expertise which has become a cornerstone of our work. We are able to produce accurate and highly detailed building specifications and cad drawings whatever your needs, and we work closely with specialist consultants to ensure that issues such as energy consumption, security and building legislation are adhered to.

Tailoring a planning solution to meet your needs

Clayland have a number of site specific mechanisms to assist land owners to tailor a planning promotion to suit their requirements and aspirations, these can take several forms such as joint venture, no win no fee, pay as you go promotion or uplift agreements.
