Consulting - The process

Consultation
We offer a free initial consultation where we will ascertain the feasibility of the project and how best to approach it, discussing design, construction and budget and advising on planning requirements. Only once satisfied with these issues we would then proceed to the design stage.

Design
The next stage is to survey the site, taking dimensions to enable us to create AutoCAD technical drawings suitable for planning, permitted development and building regulation applications. We provide highly detailed, computer generated drawings using the very latest software which will give both the client and the local authority an accurate idea of how the finished project would look. Once the client is fully satisfied with the design, the next stage is to submit the applications.

Applications
The plans together with all the completed forms, statements and certificates are then submitted to the local authority. We will handle all forms of planning applications including conservation area and listed building consents and will take care of building regulation applications, design and access statements and SAP/SBEM calculations. By utilising our knowledge and advice we can ensure the full potential of your project and put the best possible case to planners, ensuring all criteria are satisfied.
