Contracting
From single dwellings to large developments, private or public sector, schools, housing associations and insurance commissions Clayland has the skills and experience you need to deliver quality projects on time and on budget.
Our flexible and reliable approach, as well as our outstanding craftsmanship has earned us our strong reputation. Unlike many modern firms who act purely as management contractors we employ our own team of experienced craftsmen, many of which have been with us since their apprenticeships. This ensures a continuity of service and quality work from start to finish.
We work as principal contractors for our clients bringing a wealth of expertise and experience to any scheme. We are best known for our work in the residential sector, having created many developments including mainstream housing, large executive homes and retirement properties for a range of clients.
We have also completed a number of bespoke single properties for private clients ranging from cosy bungalows to spacious barn conversions to modern family homes. We have also carried out sensitive restorations of listed historic buildings.
We are an NHBC registered house builder and members of Constructionline and the Considerate Constructors scheme. We have also recently been nominated for an LABC building award for best barn conversion and an EDP Business Award for our Apprenticeship scheme.
